"They say revenge is best served cold...

Personally, I like mine served with a side of dragon fire."

My name is Tara and all I ever wanted was to be an acrobat in the circus. Then my family was killed by vampires.

I still perform. My dragon Percy and I take to the skies in the greatest show you've ever seen. Seeing this sassy Kansas girl cracking whips on the back of a dragon sure does draw in a crowd. Not that I allow their adulations (and tips) stop me from seeking what I truly crave.

Vengeance.

In my secret side gig as a vigilante, we’ve hunted down the murderous vampires to New Orleans. Seems they’ve been up to horrible things since killing my parents. If I don't stop them, no one will.

Review given under the boxed set. I must have bought this individually before I bought the boxed set. I liked it. It picks up from the moment the second book ended.

I was thoroughly enjoying the series, until I came to an abrupt and very confused stop halfway through Book Two. Tara quite inexplicably states that she had never met Percy's mother, and that Percy had no recollection of her; however, a very large part of Book One involved their not only meeting her, but having an epic and rather unforgettable battle with her, and that was after Percy had spent some time with her, during which he was painfully subjected to his mother's idea of training. Maybe the authors didn't read their own Book One??!!??

All of the gonegodworld story arcs are really good; the characters are well developed, the banter between them is fantastic and the mix of Others in the stories brings interesting twists. Well worth trying (some of the box sets are still £0.99) but beware once you start reading because they are hard to put down. Go on - suspend your disbelief and give 'em a go!

Congratulations to S.W. Clarke and Ramy Vance for this amazing series. It’s extremely nice to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

First of all, I like the story. The problem is that each book ends with a cliff hanger and the author never gets to the end of the story. I just finished book 2 and I'm debating if I want to continue with this series. Book 4 is out and I'll bet it doesn't end there either. I don't mind an overall arc to a series, but these books don't seem to have any conclusion and I'm tired of being left hanging.

I really like the series but you need better proof readers or something because in one part Tara says Percy or her had never met his mother but half of the first book was about his mother.

Omg! Can they get any better? No way to predict what is going to happen in this series. Read them all and enjoy or go crazy trying to figure it out.

I can't put any on of these books down. I don't get much done that's for sure. The entire series of the Godgone world has been fantastic!!

Okay, that was one WILD ride.I had no idea what to think when I picked up the first book, but I was hooked as soon as I read the first few pages. Dragons are one of the great myth/legends of the human world we live in. Many think that dinosaur bones were the origination of tales of flying, firebreathing monsters (Who like snowballs in 1 case!) , but as always, there was the uncertainty. 'Here be Dragons' as was written on ancient maps. The unknown. The unknowable. The scary. (Or the big, blue kid!)This was book was NOTHING like I expected. That is a good thing. All four of the books kept me readings. Kept me turning pages. I gave it four stars because the authors love cliffhangers a bit too much.STOP DOING THAT TO ME!I gotta know! I gotta see what hijinks Tara and Percy get up to! I gotta see!HERE be dragons! And here I be, loving every minute of it.

The books led up to this, and the authors pulled out the stops! Look forward to the next series in the story of this crazy world. If you read this first, get the preceding stories and catch up. It will be fun! Loved them all!

I am totally clueless how you all think of this stuff but thanks for writing it down in a very entertaining way. Now get cracking on the next work of wonder.

I don't want it to be over... but wait! It isn't completely over. A new story is coming with different characters and it seems interesting. I loved my time with the dragon though.

What great characters and plot. So much action and adventure. So much heart and soul. I love the story and am hoping the characters come back over and over.

I enjoyed this book but having read it before I was not ready for a repeat. Tara and Percival are an unlikely but adorable pair.

Admire the way hate turns to respect for one's old enemies in the fullness of time. We all learn to respect ourselves as we grow to truly know ourselves.

Lust in this gonegodworld is incarnate. The dragon and his rider are in trouble. Two sides war against each other and the sides are not what they seemed at the beginning. In this confusing universe (to me) introspection takes on a whole new meaning. Of the three novels in this series so far, this was the most satisfying and mature. The insights about emotions and their effects go beyond incarnation of seven deadly sins. It is a truthful and teachable inspiration for this broken real world.

This is book two in a four book series. I love to read about dragons, one of favorite mystical creatures. Percival is a five year old dragon who was raised by Tara after she found his egg. This is the story of how Tara’s soul is inhabited by another person from hundreds of years in the past. Story is well done and exciting, with many moments where you wonder how they will manage to survive. You should be aware the ending of the book is a cliffhanger, not my favorite thing. Book #3 is available for preorder.

Interesting characters with good interactions with each other. The premise is unusual but entertaining. The story was fast paced and I didn't want to put it down

Tara Drake and her dragon, Perce , have to survive in a world without gods, with magical creatures roaming the lands. Bereft of her family, slaughtered by a host of vampires on the night the gods left, she clings to her dragon and subsists as a street performer. Always searching for the leader of the vampires that killed her family. A good read.

This is a new series set in the godgone world. Five years ago the gods left and Tara’s life was changed, her family had just been killed by vampires before they became mortal creatures. Tara has been searching for them since that night. Along the way she managed to hatch dragon egg, and found herself being both a mother and a friend to the young dragon. A good read.

I enjoyed the 2 book series but 1 question. What is name of third book? At end of the second book "Welcome to the Dragon Show" it ends book 3. And that book 4 will be out in May.

I had not realized this was related to the morality bound series. It was a great read, and I had a hard time stopping to rejoin the real world. Tara is tough, but she finds the most unexpected friends, and she stays alive, to revenge her family, and protect her new one! Enjoy!
